Introduction [Biosketch]

Rimpi Sonowal is an Assistant Professor of English Literature at Gurucharan University, Silchar, Cachar, Assam, dedicated to fostering critical thinking and creative expression in the classroom. She specializes in African writing in English , Womens’ studies and Ethnicity. Rimpi holds M.Phil in English from Assam University, Silchar and pursued Masters’ degree in English literature from Dibrugarh University. At present, she is pursuing her Ph.D from Centre for African Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
